After years of alternating between very expensive salon hair colouring and shop bought male colouring products, this product is by far the best i have ever had. The hair colour mixed for me was perfect and v easy to use. The follow up customer service is great. Thoroughly recommended
The colour resembles my natural colour, which is amazing. I just need to keep it 1 minute less than instructed - covers the grey a bit less intensively but exactly the way I like (more than 75% but not fully 100%…just as I wanted, which is about 90%), giving a natural look. Easy to apply and easy instructions to follow. Good communication with the company 👌 10/10.
This was so easy to apply and I love the color. I didn't want to cover the white beard, I just wanted that distinguished salt n pepper look. That's exactly what I got. My wife loves it.

Great product for those who have problems with cheerfulness, I recommend it.
A very nice product. Good colour, personalised and great quality. It’s more for hair than beard and the reason is, the developer is 42 mls, colour is 32 mls. Once you mix then you've shot yourself in the foot. Because for a short beard you need 3mls of developer and 1.5 mls of colour. Apply and wash in 15-20 min if you want the colour to last max 4-5 days. The other thing which is important, once you have opened the colour bottle and used less for example for your beard then the rest will oxidise and turn darker and darker with each passing day. Lastly it is messy, too many spray marks on sink, here and there, if you apply more then it drips, so better have an old T_shirt on, be prepared to have an alcohol wipe ready or the Mrs will shoot you down, I would like to suggest to colorsmith to either produce small packages 3-4 mls developer and 1.5-2 mls of colour. Or provide a syringe for more cost effective use and less wastage. But all in all a very good product and moderately recommended

I am pretty happy with the color for my beard. Also, the instructions are amazing. I'd say I am usually clumsy in doing these kinds of activities but I was pleased with the results. Also the color stays for a good amount of time and vanishes gradually, so there's not a stark contrast as time goes by.
Really easy box sent with detailed instructions. The colour is exactly as I wanted. I feel I’ve my original hair colour back. Would definitely recommend.
Easy to apply and very effective
It took me a few weeks to use the product from initial purchase due to concerns it would look too dark/box dyed. After now using the product I can happily say it's the perfect shade of colour for my hair and most greys were covered as stated in my order. This is a fantastic product and the results are extremely satisfying, it really is custom made to each person. It's also great you can choose the frequency of orders and its not just a straight subscription service. 10/10

Had my daughter's wedding coming up and decided to use a Camo color to darken the hair but leave a slight salt and pepper look. it was fantastic. everyone was coming up to me saying how great I looked with no idea I did it. I looked in the mirror and said "wow". great blend.

I've colored my hair for years, contenting myself with the few products specifically available to men. This product produced a very realistic Ash Brown, a color that is not easy to find. The product is attractively and thoughtfully packaged, with every ingredient labeled. And afterwards, I did not have to go through annoying reactions and comments on "what I did to my hair." This is my 3rd purchase from Colorsmith (I am a monthly subscriber), and I did some adjusting to my prior color. I am 100% certain that my current color is the one I will keep for as long as I can. The prior color was very good and looked natural as well, but I feel fantastic when I look in the mirror and see my old hair color back. I started graying early, especially on the sides. All of the products I have used from this company were wonderful in blending in the colors.

I have tried every product out there to try match my beard and this was SPOT ON. Looks natural, good coverage of grey and the colourist definitely took on board my comments and photo. I initially purchased the demi-permanent but now that I know my colour is a match I’ll buy permanent. Beard conditioner really makes a difference to scruffy beards like mine.
I have used the other men's hair and Beard color in the past medium brown and it never comes out to what it's supposed to look like. It looks all right but it just doesn't look like me. I was so surprised today as I did not even look at it until I towel dried it and then I was shocked! This matches my natural hair color almost completely! I could not be happier with the color. My beard looks great, my hair looks great and there's even a little bit of gray left in it just as I wanted. Thank you so much to my color stylist!
I used the hair and beard color last night for the first time through this company, and I have to say that you have a customer! The color is natural on my hair and beard, and seems to be just like my original hair color! I started noticing a lot of grays coming in this year, and I LOVE this product! I'm cautious about getting on the treadmill of colouring my beard or hair, but my beard is now greyer than my hair so I thought to give this a try and see if it's easy, simple and works. I think it's pretty good. I like that the colour is customised - and I think next time I may upload more pictures to refine my colour match further. What comes in the box is very thoroughly thought out and easy to understand, including the instructions and a nice touch sticker to paste them on your bathroom mirror. There's probably more of everything than you need which could be refined further in future to be less wasteful (why 2 pairs of gloves? lots of little cardboard boxes, a lot of shampoo and conditioner for just a beard) The process of colouring is not difficult, the instructions simple and clear even if they could still be a little more specific, and I didn't make any mess and kept things tidy. The result I'm still thinking about - it has sort of covered my greys but maybe not as much as I wanted, maybe it's too subtle, but I would prefer that to being too obvious. I will probably try to adjust my colour to something slightly darker, and give it another go. I'm not sure about the regular subscription, I'll see how it goes once I've adjusted my colour and how it lasts; it's a big step up from super-enticing £8 trial sample to a bit toppy £19/month. I probably wouldn't pay that regularly, maybe £12-14 would be ok. Anyway - I'm glad I did it - it's seems like a good product that obviously may need some optimising/customising as you work with it.

My original Colorsmith hair colour was good but a shade lighter than what I thought would work best. Changed from Medium Blonde to Medium Ash Blonde and this worked perfectly. Really natural shades, most of the grey has gone and hair is looking great!

This hair colour blended my greys very well and took my hair colour back in time by 10 years, which is when my greys first started coming through. The colour is a spot on match to my natural medium brown shade. Very happy with the result..it doesn't look dyed, just very natural.

Just tried my Custom Color for the first time and was quite impressed. I am advancing my next ship date. The instructions were easy and I really appreciated the sticker to stick the instructions to my mirror - nice touch! The results were exactly what I had hoped for - great job! OK.. so I have TWO suggestions for you though 1. Sell a kit that has the same volume of product split into containers half the size so there are 2 developer bottles and 2 color bottles - I found I used no more than half the product as I have short hair. (I have kept the bottles to portion out my next delivery but would really like to see this "short hair option" as something I can order. 2. I was freaked out about how dark the product became on my beard and head thinking maybe it was not light brown after all. Well of course it was and it was just how it works. A line in the instructions that says "the product will appear dark while it is developing even if your final color is lighter. Do not worry about this" would make new users chill. Aside from these 2 small things, its a great product!
Well, I needn't have been so skeptical about whether an online hair colour service could achieve salon grade results! My colorist Yvette, adjusted my original order and it is just spot on! I'm really very impressed! I'd say the result is better than I've ever had at a salon even, and profoundly better that any self-dye job I've ever attempted! The application was simple, instructions clear and precise. Thank you so much!

Hi, I just wanted to leave a review for the simple reason, AMAZING, this is the first time I have have ever dyed my beard and hair, firstly what a simple process then to the matching of my personal hair colour is absolutely spot on, I can’t complain, I was very apprehensive at first, as I did not not how the result would turn out, but this is simply the best.

My strong growth hair was a mass of salt n pepper grey i tried to get my natural colour of very dark brown back but it was a very obvious change and got mixed views so I told my colourist and she recommended a Hazel brown I was anxious because my hair was never that shade however I trusted her expertise and it paid off because it blended all my greys into one shade of brown a little lighter than my dark brown. It looks so natural I even put some in my beard the result was much better than I expected. Thank you Colorsmith and special thanks to my expert colourist
Great natural look. Doesn’t quite cover all greys and sometimes only lasts 1-2 weeks, but doesn’t stain my skin when I apply it, so overall recommended.

I feel like I just went back in time 5 years. It perfectly matched my normal beard hair color (which is a hard thing to do for me) and covered all of the grays. I was hesitant about spending this much money but it's absolutely worth it.

My wife decided to buy this for me without consulting me first. She said it was just going to cover about 50% of the gray and it would not be a shock in appearance. I was skeptical, but it left gray in areas that is normal and colored my hair gently. Nobody noticed. I could tell people knew something was different, but they couldn't put their finger on it, nor did anyone say anything. I am impressed. I liked the customization to your color, as they assign a person to work with you to get the right color. It's very personal. It's also high tech, as they can analyze both present and past pictures, to match accordingly.
